Heavy Price, and a Throw of the Dice

Standard

Got caught between the horns,

And by grace I was released.

Sat with this crown full of thorns,

Jabbing into my every crease.

Faith comes with a heavy price,

That others neglect with heavy hearts.

They’ll take a gamble; throw the dice,

Cross their fingers and other parts.

I welcome what’s expected.

I yearn for what awaits.

Because I know I’ll be protected;

Saved by that who creates.
